At every turn, Trump 2.0 has prioritized petty, poorly-planned emotional outbursts over any sort of consistent coherent authoritarian consolidation.
Even the ICE/CBP rampages reflect that. Horrible and awful, but overreaches that have red suburbs blowing whistles.
