Okay, look. I'm not upset at anyone for playing the game they enjoy, but I seriously hate #MTG #FinalFantasy #UniversesBeyond set.
I haven't bought a magic set in a few months now, but Final Fantasy HAD ITS OWN TCG!
But rather than support that, we're buying into the most expensive set to date.

Don't just keep libraries, raise them up! They are central and more important than anyone thinks to the freedom of information.
I hope that bookstores never go away. Big or small. Same with libraries - just keep them. #booksky

My biggest issue as a #creative #author is settling on a project to sink my time into, and part of that is figuring out what I want. Should I write opinions/reviews or prose? Should I write sci fi? Fantasy? Build a campaign setting or a novel? So much decision paralysis!

When my fiance throws on her #podcasts on #SerialKillers I have learned to just tune it out. The sound goes in one ear and out the other so smoothly that i could use them as meditation tracks.
Her: wow, that's dark.

Her: the serial killer we've been listening about.

#MTG is a brilliantly designed #TCG that got many many choices right with no other examples existed to learn from. The accomplishments of Richard Garfield should be highly applauded.
But in the 32 years since then, I truly wish we would put it down and move on to better things.

I get way more angry when I lose a draft run because of draws instead of a failing of skill. If I fail because I built poorly, that's 1 thing, but when I lose because RNG doesn't draw me one of my 4 copies in my 40 (a 70% in 10 draws) I lost to poor game design.

Asymmetrical PVP games are hurt by the asymmetry as much as they are improved by them. Not because all gameplay should be symmetrical but because you are naturally baking in a roll position that most of your players aren't going to want to do.

@offbrand.games @rivalsofaether.bsky.social Playing some morning matches. I'm silver. I got matched twice in a row into high plat players. I am so tired of TRYING to enjoy this game despite the constant oppressive feel of going up against any S-Tier rushdown character. This is not fun anymore.

Alright, the most frustrating part of trying to generate images to play around with is when I hit a content block and the system won't tell me what piece of the content policy I tripped. How am I supposed to edit myself when I don't know the damn lines?

APM is such a lame fucking metric. Literally my least favorite part about every RTS, Fighting Game, or MOBA. Yes, it improves your success rate, but the ability to press buttons faster is the lamest skill any of these games showcase.

I did it. I broke down and bought #TheBazaar and honestly, I'm hella impressed. I was cold on this game for a couple reasons, but Raynad pushed forward with development and the team's work really shows. I'd give it a good 8.5/10
