I am worried today about the possibility of the government imposing martial law. I am not sure how real that is. But the idea still worries me.

The party that campaigned on the idea that the Democrats would turn the US into a Latin American dictatorship are now deploying the tactics of Latin American dictatorships to punish anyone who gets in the way of their goal of disappearing people into a prison in a Latin American dictatorship.
I know we’re all keeping track of lines crossed, and there’s more than any one person can track, but this one—I honestly don’t know what to say (other than we knew Homan was going to push all officers of the law into doing the work of mass deportation, and now that includes… arresting judges)
The FBI just arrested a sitting judge.

The arrest of Judge Hannah Dugan should teach one thing. Laws only matter if they are enforceable. The only one that can enforce the law is the group that has the "monopoly on violence". Be afraid.

Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan arrested by federal authorities at Courthouse
Brady McCarron, spokesman for U.S. Marshals Service in Washington, D.C., confirmed Dugan was arrested at about 8 a.m. at the Milwaukee County Courthouse and is in federal custody.
