If you're into fanfiction there's some aspect of the source material that you consider important to preserve but what that thing is can vary a lot and I find that pretty interesting.

Could it be… he ate a whole turkey today?
When I was younger the only sweet potatoes I knew were Korean sweet potatoes (goguma). Then I was served sweet potatoes at an American Thanksgiving. It had little marshmallows on it and I was like... what in the world?!
And now I love those sweet potatoes with these little marshmallows on top.

Sometimes I buy kidlit because it’s all I have the mental spoons for. There’s some good stuff out there. Low thrills. Heartwarming messages. I dig this stuff and used to feel a little embarrassed to admit it to my friends. But no longer.

I started Handplates ten years ago today, which is a totally insane thought. I had no idea where that idea would take me, or how much impact it'd have on my life! So I decided to redraw the first comic as a fun experiment. Not too different, although Papyrus looks better lol. Is that a bad thing...?
