Just learned that Aoki Tatsuo passed away recently. He was the proprietor of Popeye in Ryogoku and one of the godfathers of craft beer in Japan. I got to speak to him for my 2016 article in the Japan Times. Rest in pints, as it were. www.japantimes.co.jp/life/2016/06...
