The House has chosen not to work and is withholding the swearing-in of newly elected Democrat Adelita Grijalva. She still hasn’t been seated, and it definitely feels intentional since her signature would provide the last vote needed to force the release of the Epstein files.

Arizonans just elected Adelita Grijalva to represent them in Washington, and there’s no reason to delay seating her. Speaker Johnson should swear her in immediately so she can get to work.

Taking that away won’t make elections more secure, but it will make it harder for all Arizonans to vote, especially seniors, tribal communities, and people with disabilities.
