Amazing what happens when you vote to outsource the foreign policy of the United States to Putin because you wanted a Kompromat-hobbled wannabe tinpot-dictator to make you feel better about being a white supremacist.

Reminder: Israel is so dysfunctional that it has had five elections in the last six years. It recently failed to stop the biggest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust. The idea that these people control your own country is a cope by folks who are bad at politics and don't get how it works.

Just a warning: this is about the sick behavior of the current American White House.

These people want to murder trans folks. There's no doubt about it to me.

Here's a great video on reasons that the book Wicked is not a good one. In general, Dominic Noble's videos are great, in my opinion.

I've been yelling since 2015 about how bad it could be, and I'm still surprised every few minutes now anyway. Alternating between vile and destructive is the current administration's mode.

This is truly sick stuff. Sick, sick, sick.
Major news:

Donald Trump has just issued a trans military ban, with much of the details left to Hegseth.

It states that being trans is incompatible with "an honorable, truthful, and disciplined lifestyle"

I know many military trans people who have served admirably for decades.

Shameful.

Notice any difference between how the killers of CEOs and the killers of cab drivers are treated?

(And yes, charges will be added, etc., but still.)

It would almost have been more surprising if the city hadn't billed the family for killing him. We would have wondered if the city was feeling ill and not able to get up to its usual behavior.

The US has proven that basically any number of school kids can be shot dead and nothing will happen in regard to gun control—but we haven't yet figured out how many CEOs being shot might trigger gun control. Just a thought.

The less dark version of that thought is that *if* CEOs were being shot...

But the CEO.
The brazen murder of a CEO in Midtown Manhattan—and the cheering reaction to his execution—amounts to a blinking-and-blaring warning signal for a society that has become already too inured to bloodshed, @adriennelaf.bsky.social writes. theatln.tc/ZRcsrreK
