Was what Janeway did wrong? Yes
Do I understand why Janeway did it? Yes
Was the episode simultaneously dark but hilarious in how brutal it was? Also yes
OTD: The Star Trek: Voyager episode "Tuvix," which is as loved as it is hated. It definitely inspires some fascinating debates about morality. Did Captain Janeway make the right call? Tell us why (or why not)!

Watched so much Paw Patrol recently. Something isn't right

Why are there only issues where the Paw Patrol is present? Inside jobs

How does a 10 y.o. afford and develop all this new equipment? Money laundering and organised crime

Why are some cats able to talk and others not?? Genetic engineering!

Skeleton Crew is a really fun show. If it had come out before Acolyte people would have been all over it.

At this point it'll probably get the 'Solo' treatment of cool SW project that gets tarnished by it's controversial predecessor(s)

For me, easily better than Acolyte, Ashoka, Kenobi, BoBF

I mean yes, there is such a concept in Christianity. It appears quite notably in the letters of Paul, for instance, where it’s a concept he *relentlessly* argues against, and in the Gospel where it’s a concept Jesus very much repeatedly scorns. So it is technically in there!

Coach Gowron account with lowkey deep advice
If you go into a challenge thinking it will never work, it will never work. You have surrendered before the battle has even begun. Be realistic, temper expectations, but do not fight on behalf of your enemy by anticipating failure. Permit yourself to believe in victory.

If your Christianity causes you to be offended by someone asking the most powerful person in the country to be merciful towards the powerless, then you have profoundly misunderstood the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Meet Ophiopsammus maculata, the snake brittle star. Thought to be a scavenger and an ambush predator, it can capture and feed on fast prey including squat lobsters. It either doesn't predate humans, or is such a successful predator nobody has ever survived to tell the tale. We can never know.

I dunno, man. If I didn’t want to be called a nazi, I probably wouldn’t have endorsed a German far-right party, giving its leader a platform to millions of my followers, then done a straight-arm salute live on stage in front of 20,000 people and the world’s media.
January 21, 2025 at 9:29 AM
Yup
It's either A) not a Nazi salute which was not meant to be a Nazi salute but looks a lot like a Nazi salute, B) a badly done Nazi salute or C) a thing that was supposed to get as close to a Nazi salute as possible but with plausible deniability.

Finished Lower Decks. I'm mourning that it's finished but honestly, some of the best Trek.

Had ZERO expectations when it started but boy was I totally wrong.

Paramount had better do a spin off....
