They will consider a few recommendations from the planning commission including resolutions to deny a water supply assessment, environmental impact report certification, and other variances needed for a large solar + storage project on farmland.🔌💡
Last week the board of directors of the Imperial Irrigation District - largest user of water on the Colorado River, and one of California’s leading solar producing counties - voted on a resolution "Opposing the Expansion of Solar Development on Farmland." 🔌💡
