Trump doesn’t care how ridiculous his lies are
Trump: "Transgender for everyone! Bring your kids in, we're gonna change the sex of your child. Just send them our way. In some cases, like in Minnesota, they don't even tell the parents. Nobody believes it when I say it. They operate on the kid, they don't tell the parents. It's not believable."

Expert US investor Warren Buffett backs Europe for long term growth. This is exactly the opposite of course from the Russian and right wing propaganda flooding the media. Propaganda is lies.

This finding of "hidden" public support for green policies strongly echoes our work on pluralistic ignorance when it comes to non-car travel: most people support non-car travel more than car travel, but at the same time they believe this is a minority view

What looks like culture war chaos is actually discipline – shared funding, shared language, shared goals, repeated country by country. Geoff Dembicki on MAGA's climate denial. From _DeSmog_ -- thanks!

the energy sector is one of the most exciting places to work with a huge transformation taking place right now.

Electrification is a game changer and means a redesign of our energy system as we know it.

The French far right as always been, in part, motivated by anti-Americanism. Le Pen and Bardella have had notably cooler relations with MAGA than, say, Farage or the AfD. (Despite the US alt-right being v influence by French far right thinkers).
Wasn’t expecting this.

Then again, being a US poodle wouldn’t play well with French voters. Not even the fat right ones.

The story of Europe’s economic decline while US is 'soaring' is everywhere.

But it is wrong. It is a myth.

Europe delivers more leisure, longer life expectancy, less inequality than the US.

Gabriel Zucman dismantles the myths.
Decline, what decline? The myth of dying Europe
There is a widespread view that, by comparison with the USA, Europe is in economic and social decline. But, Zucman argues, it's not true

Europe is not falling behind the USA, writes Gabriel Zucman. It is choosing a different – and arguably superior – development model. We should stop apologising for it.

This will happen for Ukraine, and it's Putin's nightmare. Ukraine’s resources, size, brainpower and location assure it will make even Poland's success small on comparison.
