More than 1,600 fossil fuel lobbyists granted access to the Cop30 climate negotiations in Belém (Brazil), 12% up from last year’s talks in Baku, Azerbaijan.

What should be the most serious, urgent talks on the planet continue to be a farce.

The ocean has been hoarding heat. Now it is building up a massive 'burp.'
Even if humans cut emissions enough to reduce global temperatures, new research shows the Southern Ocean could kick warming back into gear.

A year ago, Spain was hit by deadly floods

They were supercharged by climate change

Yet in their wake, climate-denying politicians gained influence - which risks undermining climate action, making people less safe

An ad showing that Reagan opposed tariffs surely is not a national emergency. (It may be a personal one)

We simply can’t deal with the global warming crisis we’re in without functioning news media and Government.

Either we quickly abandon the broken system we have now for a new one we create or the world makes Mad Max look like a sit-com way sooner than we think.

Happy Saturday. 😃

- Climate change is not a top issue for voters

Taking vocabulary directly from oil and gas messaging, Google calls point-source carbon capture at methane gas plants “clean, affordable, [and] reliable.”

But CCS at methane gas (or coal) power plants has never been any of those things.

Google has previously backed enhanced geothermal, advanced nuclear and long duration storage.
