I think the Epstein affair is turning into the defining political scandal of our time. It is bringing into plain sight how informal networks of powerful, entitled, abusive and often sexually violent men operate outside any form of institutional scrutiny or restraint.
I really can’t keep up with this. It’s like every vague suspicion of oligarch, finance and tech power come together - with Russian influence.

Yes, you’re not imagining. Only Mandelson, Lebedev, Milner and Epstein and L’Affaire Russe

There are two British nationals mentioned a lot in the Epstein material. One is a man whose career is already over and the other is a fascist who might be Prime Minister in 3 years time. Can you guess which one the UK MSM is obsessed with?

The earlier June one definitely via Mandelson who soon after went hunting for a £4million pa job with Deutsche Bank supported by Epstein.

All pretty close in time to when Epstein funded Mandelson’s boyfriend (now husband’s) osteopathy course.

A quid pro quo?

I dont know what the #motd pundits made of that disallowed Villa goal but VAR really shouldn't be used for incidents that far from goal - if the ref or lino don't call it, then that's that.

Really striking going through Epstein disclosures just how often British defamation lawyers are referred to: Schillings; Paul Tweed; oblique suggestions to sue to silence

Why? Because our libel laws let rich and powerful buy silence

It’s a protest vote powered by nostalgia not a plan for future.

Wow - yes, here it is. It looks like Putin was the one who reached out to Epstein, at least according to what he told Ehud Barak.

Given Barak’s intelligence background, it’s unlikely he’d lie to him

Wonder who was the Russian conduit to Epstein - there is one plausible one
