I work with many young trans and queer people, and they have my whole heart. A large part of my work right now is validating queer teenagers, telling them that they deserve to take up space, that they deserve a full, long life. I wish the rest of the cis-world felt the same.

Today I am overwhelmed by the paper, stacks and stacks, an almost manuscript, printed out almost poems, poem lines, prose paragraphs, class notes, favorite poems of others. I was not paying attention when organization of the creative mind was being taught.
