The first measles death in the US in a decade -- the tragic, preventable death of a child whose parents chose not to protect them with vaccination -- should spark an immediate nation-wide campaign to ensure all children are protected against preventable diseases. Anything less is unconscionable.

I dont feel more biased than before about the ABC programming but I definitely feel more frustrated and disappointed with what appears to be lower news quality standards. This is not a reflection of journalists but of management. I share many of the concerns in this article.

Anyone active in work rights won’t be surprised about this very sobering report but the crucial job for us is what do we do to change the exploitation of those with least rights.

Even if we educate others on the real impacts of exploitation we can start informed action.
