The State Department orders libraries to stop providing passport services to customers. This is part of the “save act”. Voter suppression is against the law. He knows if he can discourage people from voting this is the only way he can win.

This is the white nationalist and pusher of antisemitism that the Trump administration is trying to get confirmed right now in the Senate. Shameful sick stuff:

Isn’t this exactly what a Labour government should be spending money on? And not worrying about what keeps market analysts awake at night?

I was curious as to just how many pages 6,000,000 is. Turns out, it’s a lot of pages. (The Sikh Quanshu is the largest collection of Chinese books in history, containing over 36,000 volumes covering literature, philosophy, science, medicine, and more)

But She “just doesn’t have enough information”

In a normal government, this results in the resignation of multiple cabinet officials (Transportation, Defense, and Homeland Security), and the closure or (at least!) radical reorg of the cartoonishly incompetent agency at the center of it: CBP.

A powerful moment.

Every single survivor of Epstein’s in that room raised their hand in response to the question — Who still has not been contacted by the DOJ?

Bondi is is purposefully acting as a shield and guard to an international network of child rapists.

She needs to be removed.
Jayapal asks Epstein survivors in hearing room to stand and raise hands if they still haven't been able to meet with Bondi's DOJ. Every single one of them doe. Jayapal then gives Bondi an opportunity to apologize. She responds by trying to attack Jayapal and Merrick Garland but doesn't apologize.

Is the new government policy to just not communicate so we don’t see how deeply screwed it is?
Tim Allan, Keir Starmer’s director of communications, has just quit his Downing Street role:

“I have decided to stand down to allow a new No 10 team to be built. I wish the PM and his team every success."

The daft thing is that with Proportional Representation there'd be no need for this self-destructive war within Labour. It could split into its component parts - left and right - and people could vote for what they wanted. It's only First-Past-the-Post that forces these irreconcilables together.

As corporations shell out big bucks for Super Bowl commercials, remember that many have said they were forced to raise prices due to inflation.

Also remember that profit margins in nearly every sector in the S&P 500 are running near or above 10-year highs.

And then I remembered Peter Mandelson. Never one to keep his fingers out of the biscuit tin of scandal.
