Just to reiterate, it is a really really bad idea to put infantry that is not properly trained to handle crowd control in the midst of ongoing protest against federal paramilitary forces. Especially if those forces are trying to provoke disputes with local police and violence from the population

New— An American citizen boarding flight from Boston to Lisbon just now told me after showing boarding pass, every passenger stopped on jetway by two ICE agents demanding to take their photo. When passenger asked why, ICE threatened to detain them. If they said no photo, couldn't board/TBD detained.

I was publicly derided by MAGA friends for "comparing myself to a Soviet dissident" (not true). I was privately called "unhinged" (TDS).
