ICE is hiring now glorified rent-a-cops. If Trump had been planning on “going after the worst of the worst,the criminal illegal aliens” then the training should have been ramped UP. Not dumbed down. The lack of training makes terrorizing Grandmas and 37 year old women a self-fulfilling prophecy.

They will absolutely use every trick in the book. Keep your eyes open. But elections in this country happen in too many places, in too many different ways, controlled by too many people. They don't have the manpower or the lawyers. There are about a million active duty troops in the 50 states.

I am not quite sure how to articulate this. But when you read really good works of history you realize there is a quaintness to "great events". Yes,there are great social forces,and great men and women.But real people really DO make great events,"make history". Not shadowy "forces". Fallible people.

In retrospect the 1992 election was one of the most important in history. People at the time,some at least,thought it wasn’t as important because “the Cold War is over”. And that’s why they voted for Clinton. Clinton,at least on foreign policy,was a directionless mess. Our FP has been ever since.
