I always talk myself out of making any sort of article or video or anything and am just content with whatever researching I do because I am never confident that what I would make is good enough. Meanwhile, anybody with a camera or a microphone can just say shit with zero knowledge besides hearsay.
also managed to say that racing games just weren't good until Gran Turismo and that Ridge Racer was the only contender before that and was just okay which is hilarious. bro never went to an arcade ‼️

This is neat stuff: concept designs for the Namco NegCon one of my favourite PS1 controllers. (ours pictured right)
The top one is more recognisable as the final product, albeit boxier, but wow, look at that bottom on: placed on some kind of stand with pivoting(?) grips.

I feel like mainstream western entertainment doesn't lean into the audio drama hard enough.
Like yeah, audiobooks and podcasts exist, and theater kids love making them but like... why don't bigger franchises do them more? I think it would be fun to not watch something for once
