Rees Mogg on tonight's Newsnight states that it's alright to be rude about people (on social media). That people need to grow a backbone and just ignore/put up with it, even if completely unacceptable comparisons are made with those like the Wests. Has he made it open season to attack him?

I don't remember Kuenssberg grilling Johnson or any Tory MP about his judgement in the way she's just grilled Peter Kyle about Starmer's judgement. And why is poisonous Piers on again?

Extremely disappointed that tonight's Newsnight presenter, Matt Chorley, allowed it to turn into the Zia Yusuf show. Newsnight must, and can, do much better.

Since when was a protest group, a terrorist organisation? I understand the government being embarrassed that they accessed an RAF Base, but no actual harm was done. Had they been terrorists attempts would surely have been made to damage/put aircraft out of action.

It seems, this morning, that Trump is happy to break all agreements the USA has with Ukraine, including the 2024 10 year bilateral security pact, along with the promised protection, when Ukraine gave up its nuclear weapons in the 90s.
