So sorry to hear this.

And some Reform/Farage followers would happily accept Trump as our leader in the UK, while others want Farage because of his similarities with Trump (Trumpian politics). These same people are those most likely to protest against digital ID: an invasion of privacy. Oh, the irony 🙄

Farage's perception of how a country gentleman dresses. He has another costume: the farmer, and a few more. Clueless idiot.

The snippet of Trump on last night's Newsnight couldn't be said to have given Trump credibility. Quite the opposite. It's the first item and begins with a "statement" from Trump.

Same in the UK. The government increases the minimum wage from April 2026: small and middle size business owners moan they'll have to sack staff, they can't afford to employ them if the minimum wage keeps increasing (annually). Perhaps it's they who are the problem; their businesses aren't viable?

Perhaps to ultimately show what a hypocritical, Trump sycophant, racist, unreliable, inconsistent (what he thinks people want to hear) and truly nasty man he actually is. Perhaps to show how desperate he is to be followed, for any publicity which will ultimately be his downfall.

Do they though? He was certainly challenged on his only Question Time appearance as an MP, and the same applies to Newsnight. He's not appeared on either since, preferring to send his token Muslim, mostly, and occasionally others like Tice and Matt Goodwin.

So, Lowe has changed his Party from Restore Britain to Great Yarmouth First. Does this mean no more diatribes on the state of the nation, whose ills are all at the feet of (illegal) immigrants: just monologues on the problems of Great Yarmouth? Ridiculous man.

Beautiful poem 💖 ❤️

Indeed it would. 😄

But, you'd have thought Jenrick would be up to speed before now 🤔. Seems he's trying to out-Badenoch his leader. Neither would make the grade in the classroom of a state school.

He should have qualified this to 'the worst supply teachers'. We had a lady that the Deputy Head compared to being as effective as having a tree in the room.

May be Public Schools but not in any state school I taught in. Jenrick would have been politely put in his place by the Chair, almost instantly.

Last night's Newsnight: The Tory on the panel rather stupidly said Starmer is able to negotiate trade deals now we've left the EU, which wasn't possible before. Was he including trade deals we used to have when an EU member that we're now having to renegotiate?🤔🤬

This 75 year old 'retiree/pensioner' didn't vote Leave. It was a ploy by the wealthy due to upcoming EU changes regarding tax dodging. All the more reason we should introduce a wealth tax, now.

Given a much easier time by Kuenssberg than Reeves, her only solution is to cut public spending, which her party did for 14 years, somehow resulting in increased debt: £2.7 trillion by June 2024. She showed, yet again, that she has no answer: not a clue.

Seems you can buy cheaper homes in Richmond, just as you can throughout the UK. As a 75 year old pensioner, I'd happily sell my £2 million + home and buy something cheaper and enjoy the life I could lead on the profits.

He excuses it as childhood banter. I don't remember anyone, when I was at school, imitating Hitler: goosestepping, Nazi salute, etc. Nor do I remember anyone behaving in this way during my teaching a career which began in 1972. Nor do I remember any antisemitic remarks. NF is a nasty racist.

It was the Tories who gave these contracts out to companies and people who've become wealthy as a result.

And Badenoch has just lied about the reasons for her choice to leave the ECHR, using the same excuse as Farage: stopping the boats, stopping illegal immigrants. Or, unlike Farage, does she not know the ECHR has had no impact on their "illegal immigration " who are actually asylum seekers?

Muhammad Ziauddin Usuf, to give him his full name:his version makes him appear less or non Muslim, perhaps; said Reform will cut tax but only after they've paid off the National Debt. So, there will be tax rises but for whom? What's the betting it won't be those who can best afford it?

Surely the previous decisions regarding Andrew were made by the Queen and it was always only a matter of time before the King made his brother an "ordinary member of the public" which, in turn leave him open to investigation and possible trial and conviction in the USA and UK.
October 31, 2025 at 12:29 PM
Wouldn't that be up to the USA where Epstein and Maxwell were put on trial? Presumably, now, if the USA wanted to proceed with prosecution they'd go through the usual extradition procedures, get Andrew to the States, and try him there. The ball is in their court now.
