To which I would add that as *women* taxpayers, if we have no stable set of civil rights across all 50 states, if the state will condemn us to bleed out in pregnancy or seize our dead bodies as incubators, if rape & domestic violence are barely ever treated as crimes...then WHY are we paying taxes?
If my taxes don’t pave my roads or fix my bridges or keep my schools open 5 days a week or pay local teachers a living wage or help keep my hospital open or help my neighbor’s kid eat lunch or fund public television or my healthcare…

Sidra and Suzan Hassouna are twin sisters, both killed by Israeli missiles. I can't share the aftermath, but Sidra's little body was sent flying towards a wall and became stuck on it. You tell me if bluesky liberals looking away as they yell at people and project their own apathy aren't just gross.

6 months ago, one of our C4C grads was diagnosed with FIP, an illness that, without treatment, is 100% fatal. Her adopters reached out & we sprung into action, getting the lifesaving meds to them & planning the long process of fighting the disease. Now, 168 days later, Mini Moo is officially cured!!
