Okay, lots of news about California filing suit against the Trump Administration — but WHERE is the filing going to happen? In what court should we expect to see the issue given standing? This isn’t in any of the press releases from state offices at all and I’m on the edge of my seat here

What’s in retrograde and why is this Monday specifically hellbent on being awful?! It has been a day of too many people dealing with major setbacks, bad news, or difficult and heartbreaking situations.

In my powerlessness against it all, I need to know where to direct my fierce but quiet rage.

Look, there’s a lot of wild shit going on in the world and it’s pretty bonkers out there rn

But there’s a chance that a guy with the last name PIZZABALLA could be elected pope and oh my goodness can we just get a little bit of joy out of how fantastic the name Pizzaballa really is?!

I’ve lost count of the poppies. It’s thrilling. Next year I’m going to obliterate the invasive grass so I can see all of them at once and we can toast to the pretty flowers and springtime. It’s gonna be fab.

The wildflowers are amazing this year: incredible stands of lupine, Mule's ear, multicolored California poppy (!!!), California bluebells, etc.

The unbelievable pollen count, the immune response, and the resulting case of hay fever... not so much 🤧

I've never suffered as much as I have this year.

I spoke to the @thetimes.com about the increasing reports of travellers to the US having their electronic devices being searched by customs agents and what people at high risk should do to protect themselves and their data.

To the crow who is sitting on top of my chimney and cawing loudly enough that it echoes into my house: omg I really hope you’re just pranking the dogs and not putting a hex on the house or our family

A spectacular bronze head of a griffin went missing from a Greek museum and ended up in the Metropolitan Museum, which is now returning it after research showed it was stolen. Great, you'd think... unless you know this research was done 87 YEARS AGO. 🧵 from your local provenance grump.

Would it be too much to set up a camera with the monocular to try to get the right shot of this Pacific Hound’s Tongue? It’s one of 13 in the meadow (!!!) but it’s by far the most dramatic of the bunch

Walking straight up to it isn’t an option for a gazillion reasons

What is the point of the AI if it's not being used to prevent all the phishing attempts showing up in all of my inboxes and via SMS?! Can I please get some killer detection of mass phishing/spearphishing BS that helps out by blocking the attempt before it's delivered to me?

I am le tired, y'all
