Starting a new social media life on Bluesky. Hi there!
Someone’s thrilled… and proud! Got my copy of The DNA of Doctor Who: The Graham Williams Years; I couldn’t be happier to have been part of this book.

It’s here! I can finally share the product of 9 months’ research: the story of Tristram Cary and the surprisingly long life of his 60s soundtracks, particularly The Daleks. It’s on YouTube now! Enjoy!

Despite Bluesky being extremely nice, and/but, despite the fact that I am struggling to find ways to engage, I must inform you of drastically important news!

You could be watching the first three minutes of my latest DSisDW Season 2.5 video.

This is a bit embarrassing, but:

I bought the Season 7 Collection many months ago, but am JUST watching it now, as a reward for recording the narration of my latest Season 2.5 video. Hopefully you will see this ASAP.

I did a equipboard page for the late Dudley Simpson.

equipboard.com/pros/dudley-...

I did list some of the keyboards and synths he used in Dr Who and Blake7.

Based on notes from Mark Ayres who knew him personally.

@jessjurkovic.bsky.social I hope this express interests.

Cheers!

Just watched the #DoctorWho episode “Lux” and I clearly have a type. Like “The Devil’s Chord” I mostly sat there smiling, sometimes open-mouthed at the brilliance and (my overused word) audacity of the whole thing.

Thanks to everyone who has watched Reuniting Roman Theme, and thanks also for your comments.

If you haven’t seen it, now is as good a time as any! You’ve never heard Roman Theme like this before.

Reunited for the first time since 1969 (so I think), it’s Dudley Simpson’s Roman Theme! youtu.be/qwCNqNsY_1U?...

Get ready for a new Season 2.5 video tomorrow, Noon Eastern, on YouTube! It’s about reconstructing a single track of music from The War Games (original) that’s never heard from beginning to end, piecing it together using the programme’s soundtrack.
Prepare for Reuniting Roman Theme!

Season 2.5’s second video is ready for release, and my Patreons are already watching it. Just have to wait and see if I’m allowed to use on YouTube certain clips of 1960s era Doctor Who to discuss very interesting and perhaps even novel points regarding certain clips of 1960s era Doctor Who.

Been watching The (completely) Complete and Utter History of Britain and usually my favorite thing is Colin Gordon’s commanding yet slightly put out presenter

So used to Alethea Charlton in her two Doctor Who grubby roles that it’s nice to see her in another role
Sherlock Holmes - The Copper Beeches (6th March 1965). Guesting today - Suzanne Neve, Patrick Wymark and Alethea Charlton.
