The "Frieren angle" thing, apart from just being delightful, also completely demolishes the pathetic "AI is democratising art" argument. Someone struggling with a difficult drawing received advice from hundreds of strangers who just wanted to help them improve their art.

this is something they used to teach in elementary school but i guess stopped? ALWAYS check the email address you receive these emails from and if you click the email link ALWAYS check the URL. this is called a phishing scam. they're trying to steal your account.

Our rescue is fundraising, not only to fill the cupboards, but to pay vet bills. Like for lovely Pixie who had to have ALL her teeth pulled recently.
As a no kill shelter, they don't euthanise the scaredy babies, which means feeding them.

My most woke comics opinion is that you don’t need to be “good” at drawing in any capacity to make them, as long as the reader understands what they’re seeing the way you *want* them to understand it, then you are successfully cartooning

3 years ago today, Riot Games offered me a job making more money than I ever thought I’d make in my life. I had 19 interviews over 2.5 months to get it. Partner and I were moving to LA for it. I put in notice at my job and apartment.
2 weeks later they rescinded the offer due to “headcount issues”.
