Literally just a person
Those who enjoy Oracle or Tarot decks: I’m curious how you are navigating AI art for them? On one hand I do think it makes it more accessible to people to make them, but on the other hand I prefer the original human art when offered.

I can not stress how exhausting it must be to be a bigoted person. I get annoyed about a missing coffee in a delivery order and I need a nap. They must be tired all the time with all that misplaced rage and hate.

I discovered this weekend that a few meal prep problems I was having would be fixed with a mini-muffin pan. So I did the thing and am having an easier Monday.

Action item that is small you can take right now to help out that I am enjoying is reaching out the my mayor. I now have 3 things I can do locally this weekend to support the needs of the community.

Few understand the ancient wisdom you pass on by teaching younger generations to draw this symbol.

No it was not the Stussy logo. It has appeared long before the bran existed.

I will not elaborate.

My 40’s feel like my 20’s when I put them in context of what is going on everywhere.

Thanks I hate it.

Life isn’t always about being the best and most efficient. I have never set foot into a funeral and remembered someone for that, unless it was the best at humor or something comforting me, life is just existing and supporting those around you. You can and should enjoy those moments.

"Don’t just say ‘thoughts and prayers.’ These kids were literally praying."- Mayor Jacob Frey.

That struck a chord with me. I’m not an organized religion person. This is a heaviness of realizing how many other school shooting victims were praying during their events. It’s a heavy thought.

Tomato break! My favorite part of this time of year is being the tomato fairy and dropping tomatoes to people locally.

Walked out feeling a bit blah and exhausted…

Asked for a sign and came out to this cheering crowd and pals.

When I saw this while it was being broadcast, I broke down into tears because there was something in his voice that just felt like the end was near. There was something profoundly beautiful about this song.

RIP Ozzy

When I was little, the U.S. military came to our home at gunpoint and took me and my family away. We were imprisoned for years in barbed wire camps simply because we were Japanese American. I have spent my life telling that story, hoping it would never be repeated.

I just found out, like an hour ago, that mini-donkeys exist and grow to be like 3 feet tall. They need to be in at least pairs and they are super cute.

Something that stuck out to me (and I’m afraid I can’t source it) was to not do things from a place of fear, shame, or guilt. Those feelings can block the work you need to do because you are in your feelings. You can acknowledge those and move on, but try to focus on the goal you have to move forward.

Springsteen's "Born in the USA" album, all about factories closing, came out in 1984, closer to the end of WWII than to today.

The time we've been lamenting the end of the postwar dream of middle-class men making a living working in factories has now lasted longer than that brief dream ever did.

A little new beginning from the weekend. I usually give the first flowers a few days to make sure the wildlife doesn’t eat them, but this will be a tomato in a few weeks.
