As a survivor of the Tulsa Race Massacre, Viola Ford Fletcher bravely shared her story so that we’d never forget this painful part of our history. Michelle and I are grateful for her lifelong work to advance civil rights, and send our love to her family.

I’m still shocked that stories like this which come out daily still get largely ignored. The most corrupt person to ever hold any public office in US history. I will keep posting them every day and try to amplify them, even when most media doesn’t care. www.wsj.com/finance/curr...

On Juneteenth, we celebrate Black freedom, resilience, culture, and the enduring strength of community across generations. We acknowledge our nation’s full history and the long, ongoing fight for freedom and justice for Black Americans.

We’re not going back. Juneteenth reminds us of our freedom. Yet, as history shows us today, the fight for freedom must be fought and won with each generation.

Don’t fumble the ball.

Pay Attention.
AOC: When you wake up in the morning, you will realize that you voted to defund planned parenthood and take away health care from 13.7 million Americans and when this country wakes up there will be consequences to pay for this

Watch What They Do, NOT What They Spin. ⬇️
House Republicans have passed Trump’s budget bill that cuts Medicaid, food stamps, and vital government services to give tax cuts to billionaires.

The bill would kick 9 million Americans off their health care coverage, 3 million off of food stamps, and add $3.8 trillion to the federal deficit.

Jeffries: There are three big issues with the bill

1. It represents the largest cut to healthcare in American history.
2. It represents the largest cut to nutritional assistance in American history.
3. All of this is being done to enact the largest tax break for billionaires in American history.

Right now, the leadership in Congress is literally trying to take health care and food assistance away from poor families in order to give a tax break to their rich friends.

That's not spin - that's the reality of the moment.

Justice Riggs is right. We should not have to fight for democracy. But the reality is that we must.

Republicans want to kick 7.6M people off Medicaid to save $625B over 10 years.

Universal healthcare with Medicare for All would guarantee everyone healthcare and save $650B every year.

Republicans don’t care about healthcare or saving money — they want to harm people.
