My $EMPLOYER has about 6 townhalls per quarter, based on various leaders.
Each one begins with a talk about how our voice is heard. And then, goes on to prove that false, and further disenfranchise me. I feel compelled to attend, but it actively derails me.

On this day, 162 years ago, the 1st Minnesota Infantry charged confederate forces which outnumbered them 5-to-1. They took 82% casualties, and pried a battle flag from the Southern traitors. That flag is still in the possession of the MN historical society.
