The School Yard. The best way to understand what goes on in the world.

The big bully always goes down in the end and the good prevail.

It is just a question of time.

🧠 2025 Reflections:

Alignment doesn’t happen in an auditorium. 🎪

It happens in the leadership team first and then in the conversations that follow.

If the leadership isn’t coherent, the organization won’t be either.

It’s the uncomfortable but necessary truth. ⚠️

The important thing in life is to collect memories & moments with people you enjoy being with.

Regretfully I got reminded to always stick to this principle again this week.

Did you know that we in Innovisor always give a do-good discount to not-for-profits whose cause we believe in?

Like this case, where we helped the COO succeed.

Client feedback: "I've been working with the influencer cohort a lot more. It's been invaluable for us as we shape messaging and priorities for 2026.

Thanks for all your help! It was a great experience and continues to pay off for us.".

Experience counts.

Dear know-it-all change leaders, don’t “pet bisons’.

It will be a fiasco 🏥

All others, let’s talk before you embark on change 🦬.

NB! Looking at bisons from the distance is ok.

It’s easy to create division. An us & them. This is the go-to method of average leaders.

Great leaders unite. Emphasize togetherness.

Don’t be average. Be great!

Just like org charts, processes, and procedures are not how work really get’s done in the workplace.

"The devil is in the detail".

Sometimes it is better to IGNORE THE DETAIL, as the devil is hidden in the system.

Like in this project. The solution was as step 1 to design how the system was to be connected, and then as step 2 identify the right individuals to change it with.

I have seen some reluctance to applying network analysis to Organizational Change challenges in the past.

But with +1,000 cases since 2007 and a strong client community…

With @innovisor.bsky.social you will not be the early bird.

A tall friend will have walked before you 😉

Just start. The right people will never meet you at the start line - only on the path.

The same principle applies to most social change work.

Last 2025 call was with Innovisor community member - a VP of People & Culture.

She shared her company had 2x employees in last year, but also had faced 50% turnover of the new employees.

Where informal catalysts were activated turnover was 15%.

Consequently, we collaborate again in 2026 😃

Most leaders follow their gut and are impatient, when it comes to #change

… but it helps to do your #analysis first - and frequently after - as you and your organization move forward.

Just like when you go on a hike in a National Park.

I feel optimistic about 2026.

I want to fill it with great memories, people I care for & figure out how I can pour into my passion for track & field, as my kids grow older.

These pictures are from morning runs and traveling. In France (!), US, England, North Macedonia.

HNY to you all.

Employee Lifetime Value as a curve. It easily explains why network interventions matter:
- to accelerate onboarding
- to improve value add
- to increase retention

Used this in several orgs like energy, technology, and consulting to show impact on bottomline.
