This bit I put up on my way to take my kid to the playground has done weird numbers completely unasked so now I’m going to actually request a signal boost, purely because Posting would be the funniest possible way to get a comms job #nzpol #kikorangi
Hey Green Party, put me on comms and not only will I double this run rate, I will get the whole party on Bluesky
I haven't done actual number-crunching, but from following the media releases published on Scoop, it feels like ACT are putting out around 10 media releases for every one by Labour or the Greens. An activist party in government that continually feeds its friends in the media.

This year's Matariki theme is Matariki mā Puanga: celebrating together. It's a beautiful theme of inclusion, diversity, and celebrating Matariki together.

Aotearoa has a beautiful, diverse community, and now is a perfect time to celebrate it.

I'm not the first to point this out but this stuff is in my wheelhouse.

✅️Defending your proposed bill.
❌️Singling out a specific academic in the style of a wanted poster with "victim on the day" on it.

This is only done this way to (1) silence experts (2) drive harassment & complaints against them

Good morning everyone!

It is officially TWO WHOLE YEARS since Sex Self-ID became available in Aotearoa New Zealand!

And not a single person has been harmed, bothered, or inconvenienced by it.

For someone who got 8% at the last election David Seymour somehow has control over school meals, the curriculum, our entire constitutional settlement, bottlenecking bills that don't meet his standards, and somehow what universities choose to teach? Didn't National win the most seats or something.

The ghouls are pushing to slice bits off the basic NZ state pension again. This article is a classic of the type - sleights of hand a-plenty. Let's pick it apart.
First, note that public spending on pensions is loads higher in Denmark than in meanass NZ, which... [🧵1/n]

Here’s Māori TikTok creator The Conchurversial Kuzzie putting PM Christopher Luxon’s declaration of war on traffic cones into perspective, using his trademark humour and bite to ask where the governments priorities really lie.

NZ Herald suggested this in a Jan 10th article, where the phrase “it’s possible” was repeated serval times, with zero confirmation that this actually happened. The article was regurgitated by RNZ the next day. I’m so tired of this crap. It’s dangerous. Not to mention it’s bad journalism. #nzpol

Worth highlighting how the (new) Deputy PM instigates, inspires, & normalises racist, & extremely violent discourse. sanjanah.wordpress.com/2025/01/16/d... from this year, and sanjanah.wordpress.com/2023/08/19/h... from 2023. Of course, Chris Lynch makes no mention of this in interview.
