Please hear me when I say that

1) these anti-medical woo birth movements have been a primary feeder into anti-vaxx eugenic movements

2) they pre-date the age of social media

3) they exist because we have not addressed medical sexism and specifically obstetric violence

What does TST do that isn’t done better by someone else with the added bonus of financial transparency?

No one needs to go to TST for food. Or for an abortion. You don’t need to slap a pentagram on those services.

PSA: Satanic Temple is led by a reactionary, borderline-fascist grifter.

PLEASE do not amplify the claim that they are magically going to feed a big bunch of the WIC/SNAP folks set to go hungry.

At a minimum, that's doing free PR for bad people.

And it potentially gives the impacted false hope.

The thing about people showing you who they are through harm is, they do not get to claim publicly to be anyone different until they do the work of public repentance and repair.

So if your dirtbag faves are "better" now, well. No they're not, not until they do that work

They're right, you know. It's insane that people still think this group is some kind of savior. No outsider is going to come and save you or anyone else. Look into your own community. Read about mutual aid. WE SAVE US. That's what Satanists do.
The Satanic Temple is not going to fucking feed people when the Republicans take SNAP away

who is repeating this shit, and who is still believing it

Lessons in Magic and Disaster dead ass captured a slice of queer culture that was so formative to my young adulthood. And now I’m a mom to a queer teenager, and it’s just amazing to have books that see us, written by us. @charliejane.bsky.social

Huh. I wonder why the same doesn't hold true when Lucien speaks about CK. I'm glad I left TST. How embarrassing.

When I was a congregation heads we were specifically told we could not make any official statements regarding George Floyd's murder and TST would not rush to make a comment.

It’s not a surprise that The Satanic Temple couldn’t be bothered to have anything to say about all sorts of violence related to anti-Black racism, transphobia, or retaliation for pro-Palestinian speech by fed/state governments, but TST did quickly come out to say this.

This is just what they are.

Now, “Lucien Greaves” *usually* has a sneering contempt for members of The Satanic Temple who expect him to denounce frivolous stuff unrelated to TST’s mission (as Misicko defines it). Just see his Substack.

It would’ve been fine for him to let the Charlie Kirk death pass by, too.

But he didn’t.

If you join and then leave the abusive organization that is The Satanic Temple, you risk being subjected to a smear campaign.

It’s a year after I left, and I’m still being accused of theft. They won’t specify what they claim I stole, but that doesn’t stop them from repeating the allegation.

Always and forever.
we do not need a new savior with all the right opinions to come and do things for us, to fix all of the problems on our behalf

we need to do things for us

The Satanic Temple is not a leftist organization, despite what most of its “card-carrying” membership thinks. The leftists who did the work in TST exited en masse in 2024. If you look at the social media of the leadership who remained, they regularly sneer at “SJWs” and leftist activism.

Local teacher union leader running for State Rep. We're in a social media group together, where she commented towards me that people of my religion and similar religions should stay the hell away from her. Astounding move for someone trying to enter politics. She'd have my vote otherwise.

I am at my school district’s convocation, and this is hell. I’m wondering if we will have to endure another musical starring and featuring our state-appointed superintendent.

Things The Satanic Temple will forgive: using the same account to post the organization's legal updates on Reddit that they once used to post 4chan bullshit, including repeatedly dropping the n-word with a hard r.

Things TST won't forgive: making fun of the co-founder in a meme.

I walked outside this morning to the most beautiful spider web. My fig trees are about six feet apart, and it spans between them. The spider itself is resting right in the center of the web. When the lighting is better, I’ll try to get a picture. It’s just so huge!

Matewan also has a lot of Hatfield/McCoy memorabilia. The Walking Tour did a great job at putting it into perspective when it could be so easily cheapened the way the media spinner and exploited the whole feud in the first place.
