Handing back student work that’s been written by ChatGPT with a 0 followed by the comment “This essay will never stand in authentic wonder before the Beauty of God’s creation.”
Pope Leo XIV told students not to use artificial intelligence for homework, saying that AI ‘won’t stand in authentic wonder before the beauty of God’s creation.’

It's ironic that orange is the colour I associate with Trump and he hates women.

I posted my list of wealth taxes yesterday and via a follower it was read out by James O’Brien. These are already very effective. But they’ve had little publicity. It’s so annoying.

My attendance record in the European Parliament was the 4th worst out of 751 MEPs, yet I managed to turn up to vote AGAINST plans to tackle Russian misinformation.
Thankfully this is of no interest to the media.

Key points: Met police say investigation into other politicians is ongoing. Gill sought to recruit multiple MEPs including 4 British ones.

The judge gave strongest possible quotes about the gravity of the crime and the damage done to public trust.

I wonder if their inaction causes any of them nightmares. I wonder if the thought of 23,000 people dying touches them at all.

That #QuietPiggy line is still disturbing me. It makes me think of A Clockwork Orange for some reason.

Trump is conspiring with Putin to sell out Ukraine – and the security of the whole of Europe along with it.

The Prime Minister must convene the Coalition of the Willing to stop this betrayal in its tracks.
New: I can confirm hasty US-Russia proposal being pushed to Ukrainians via Dmitriev-Witkoff to Umerov. It would amount to Ukraine’s capitulation, with people familiar saying it’s Kremlin’s maximalist demands.
-Ukraine army cut 1/2
-Give up certain weapons
-Give up Donbas
-Zelensky displeased

If we lose the BBC we will never, ever get it or anything like it, back again.

The BBC guidance on Impartiality states "Impartiality is a core BBC value so everyone who works for the BBC in any capacity should always consider whether their actions, either professional or personal, might risk causing damage to perceptions of the BBC's Impartiality".
Robbie Gibb what say you?

Nigel Farage doesn't have any coherent arguments he just has incoherent indignation.

I was going to polish my final book chapter this week, (it's about Due Impartiality) and submit the manuscript to the publisher at the end of the month. However, I feel a rewrite might be in order now [insert facial expression here].
Thoughts and prayers appreciated.

Rupert Murdoch has been plotting the downfall of the BBC for decades, so he must be hoping to tick another thing off his bucket list now.

Robbie Gibb was appointed to the BBC Board by Boris Johnson, was an editorial advisor for GB News, and worked as Theresa May's Director of Comms.

He is not impartial or neutral. The government should remove him from the Board immediately to protect the BBC's independence.

It's about time the BBC appointed a female Director General and I am quite happy for someone to put my name forward before Trump suggests we give the job to Melania.
November 10, 2025 at 2:59 PM
I hope this paves the way for a BBC which doesn't give Farage wall to wall coverage.

Well, there we go. It's a study from Brazil and the US but I am sure we'd get the same results if the study was replicated here.
We don't need to teach media literacy to the kids as much as we need to teach it to their parents and grandparents.

The head of journalism at Cardiff has published a blog entry on BBC Radio 4's coverage of Mamdani.
Why is the BBC calling Mamdani radical left?
Accurate and impartial or echoing Trump's language?

Talk's 'Kevin O’Sullivan’s Political Asylum' has breached Ofcom's Due Impartiality requirements. I hadn't realised that Isabel Oakeshott was the Talk 'International Editor', is that because she lives abroad now?
Fancy.
Anyway, here's Ofcom's statement for you.
