I don't want to live in interesting times anymore.
It's about time the BBC appointed a female Director General and I am quite happy for someone to put my name forward before Trump suggests we give the job to Melania.

I hope this paves the way for a BBC which doesn't give Farage wall to wall coverage.

Well, there we go. It's a study from Brazil and the US but I am sure we'd get the same results if the study was replicated here.
We don't need to teach media literacy to the kids as much as we need to teach it to their parents and grandparents.

The head of journalism at Cardiff has published a blog entry on BBC Radio 4's coverage of Mamdani.
Why is the BBC calling Mamdani radical left?
Accurate and impartial or echoing Trump's language?

Talk's 'Kevin O’Sullivan’s Political Asylum' has breached Ofcom's Due Impartiality requirements. I hadn't realised that Isabel Oakeshott was the Talk 'International Editor', is that because she lives abroad now?
Fancy.
Anyway, here's Ofcom's statement for you.

The headline should be about how there were many, many more people who turned out for the counter protest.

Nigel Farage pledged to "throw everything" at the Caerphilly campaign but didn't win and I bet he got more media coverage too.
Oh dear...how sad, etc.

I have to fill out a form. It's not that long but it's a form. I've been sitting at my computer for 3 hours & 40 minutes. I am typing on Bluesky. I haven't started the form. I bought a new book and some ink and some shoes online (they'll never fit). I've even tidied up some citations. Help me.

May I suggest that all English people take A level English too? Otherwise all them there 'foreigners' will have a linguistic advantage. Mind you, a majority of them do already.

Well, I can't believe that a man who put troops on the streets of his own country and put children in cages at the borders didn't win the Noble Peace Prize.
Congratulations to Maria Corina Machado.

I think the British media should only use "Tommy Robinson's" real name when reporting on or about him.
Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon doesn't have quite the same appeal.
