This is an important thread. It seems weirdly disrespectful to try to turn Kirk into something he clearly despised.
As someone who spent many hours listening to Kirk’s show on AM radio, I would say that he made Rush Limbaugh seem like Walter Cronkite by comparison, in terms of rhetorical tone and empirical rigor. The subtext of every show was “You don’t hate the left enough.”

You’re not wrong. At all. I just think people are also tired of being lectured about this. And that’s where a lot of the anger stems from, unfortunately, in the people’s feeds that are preaching it. Every single time a shooting happens — which happens alot now. Sigh.

Every time I see an Oval Office picture, I think "this is the commercial real estate version of what happens when car owners buy every plastic stick-on thing at Auto Zone."

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.
This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.
It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

Hochul may want to recall that her victory was the slimmest dem NY Gov win since the 80s. Mamdani's was huge. Perhaps she's jealous? Either way, it's something she should consider.
Zohran Mamdani is saying things like “poverty is a policy choice and politicians have a duty to their constituents to make their lives affordable” and it is making a lot of politicians very very scared that they may actually have to start doing some actual service in their public service jobs.
