My Grandmother who raised me, passed unexpectedly last night. We had just spent that afternoon with her for my daughter's birthday. I have to tell my children, I am not sure how to even approach the subject with my autistic child. I can barely process it myself I don't want to traumatize my children

Sanders: That is a totally meaningless gesture. You can get 100 votes here and it won't mean anything because the House is not going to take it up.

The coordinated nature of this—none are facing voters in 2026—means that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it.

Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.
so currently defectors are:

Kaine (2030)
Shaheen (Retiring)
Hasan (2028)
Fetterman (2028)
Durbin (Retiring)
CCM (2028)
Rosen (2030)
King (2030)

Always hated Fetterman so no surprise there, and to be honest there are a few names *cough* Hassan *cough* Shaheen, that are on this list that don't really surprise me either.
Never forget who sold us out:

Hassan
King
Cortez-Masto
Shaheen
Kaine
Fetterman
Durbin
Rosen

During the European campaign of WW2, American troops would leave this character to let the NAZIs know that they were everywhere.
Kilroy is beginning to pop up in public spaces. He is the call for & promise of liberation. He is hope. He is everywhere.
Kilroy was here.

The union representing the musicians from Jimmy Kimmel’s band releases a statement calling the FCC’s pressure on Disney “state censorship.”

Must watch. Now is the time to rise up and speak out against Trump’s agenda to end free speech. Democracy, Democrats and Free Speech are under attack #Voices4Victory #ProudBlue
It’s happening. The takedown of Jimmy Kimmel is likely the start of a campaign to use the murder of Charlie Kirk as a pretext to use the power of the White House to wipe out Trump’s critics and his political opponents.

But we aren’t powerless. We can mobilize and organize. Now.

They want to cancel Jimmy Kimmel and kill free speech?

Time to hit them where it hurts—their pockets:
- Cancel Disney+
- Cancel Hulu
- Boycott ESPN
- Boycott ABC

Let them know why you’re canceling/boycotting.

THIS👇
Jimmy Kimmel wasn't suspended because of what he said. He was suspended because the FCC threatened his employer.
That's state-sanctioned censorship and it is a GIANT RED FLAG 🚩🚩🚩 that authoritarianism isn’t *coming* it’s ALREADY HERE. Today it's Jimmy. Tomorrow it's the rest of us.

Another loss for Oklahoma's MAGA mini-me Ryan Walters.

OK's supreme court blocked new social studies standards that included conspiracy theories about covid and about Trump's loss in 2020. And they blocked the law putting bibles in public schools.

He wasn't fired for bad ratings, he wasn't fired for comments about Kirk he never said anything about Kirk he commented on how MAGA handled the shooting and made fun of Trump again thats why he was fired!
I STAND WITH JIMMY KIMMEL
Trump: "Jimmy Kimmel was fired because he had bad ratings more than anything else ... they should've fired him a long time ago. So you can call that free speech or not."

Of course the great irony here is he was totally respectful towards Kirk and mocking those using his death for cynical politics. And then the cynical politics came for him.

Jimmy Kimmel was not celebrating the murder of Charlie Kirk. The majority of the people who have been fired were not celebrating the murder of Charlie Kirk 🙄
White House Faith Director Jenny Korn: "They've shown their evil. And thank goodness for companies now who are firing nurses and teachers and people like Jimmy Kimmel, because people should not be able to celebrate others' deaths in a very public way and the keep their jobs."

HORRIBLE. SICKENING. UNACCEPTABLE.

In a democracy we settle our differences with words, ideas & actions, not hatred, guns & violence.

The attack on Charlie Kirk is disgusting, vile, and reprehensible.

In the United States of America, we must reject political violence in EVERY form.

Violence has no place in our democracy. PEN America condemns the shooting of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University. Our campuses must be safe spaces for dialogue, and all Americans must reject violence as a response to speech. Ideas must be met with debate and not bullets.
