My husband and I were having some dentists over to the house to talk about doing some dental work. As I took impressions of my teeth using bubble gum, he fed them cold, plain baked potatoes straight out of the tin foil.

If I hadn't waited until I was 40 years old to have a baby, I'd still be trying to dig out of the financial mess it would have put me in.
I reported on economics full-time in 2020. It taught me there are no incentives to have a baby in the US. Women in the US have to pay for pre-natal, medical and child care, earn less, do most of the parenting and chores, get promoted less, and are now at 27% higher risk of maternal mortality.

I'm so relieved to see that the 'hate Bernie Sanders, no matter what' faction of the Democratic Party has risen from its slumber to once again alienate folks who still appreciate Bernie's message.
It has worked out SO WELL for them since 2016.
