NEW: Our DEFRA FOI reveals the budget for local councils to tackle #AirPollution has gone from £225 million a year to just £1.5 million in the last five years.

Cutting air pollution budgets by 99% at a time when children are still breathing illegal & toxic levels of dirty air is indefensible.
Funding for air pollution cut 99%, campaigners raise alarm
Mums for Lungs warned the cuts will significantly delay efforts to reduce emissions to levels recommended by the World Health Organisation (WHO). New research from the parent campaign group shows fund...

69% of adults find it unacceptable that there may still be cars in the UK with #Dieselgate emissions defeat technology fitted.

A decade on, we're still breathing the emissions from these cars. "Where illegal activity is shown, the government needs to enforce recalls, paid for by manufacturers."

“Air pollution fell substantially as Paris restricted car traffic and made way for parks, people-streets and bike-lanes.”

Better for the climate, better for health, better for livability and quality of life.

Common sense.

Such a no-brainer, it’s remarkable that more cities HAVEN’T done the same.
Paris said au revoir to cars. Air pollution maps reveal a dramatic change.

DEFRA reports that last year, London complied with the UK’s annual average legal limit of 40ug/m3 for NO2, 15 years after it should have.

This is exactly what the leader of a diverse and vibrant city like London should say. Thank you Sadiq.

The Court found that even if car manufacturers had persuaded the Court of its confidentiality, public interest would be
"squarely in favour" of allowing public access to the unredacted documents because of what appeared to be "credible allegations of serious misconduct" faced by the

So it seems quite insane to take it one step further and integrate Microsoft Teams video calling into a car's in-built system.
