All this talk of Europe divided... of course it is "divided." It is a federal democratic continental sized union. There will always be some division. But it is striking how united it actually it is on the big issues, especially Ukraine, and how much it gets done.

![Excerpt from article: "The praise heaped upon a student who interrupted a class lecture to announce that she was personally offended by the instructor’s views on gender and who then proceeded to push to have that instructor fired is an illuminating contrast to the widespread vilification and punishment of college and graduate students who have protested external speakers on the basis of their views on gender. For example, students who protested a speech by a lawyer from the extreme anti-LGBTQ+ organization Alliance Defending Freedom at Yale Law School were accused of imposing a “heckler’s veto”; they were mocked, denounced, and “canceled” from consideration as clerks by several prominent, conservative federal judges.
