Son, Husband, Dad, Grandfather (PopPop). I have strong beliefs.. but I am open to learning from the opinions of others.
This is how a lot of us are and the rest of us need to be who we are and change the narrative. Loudly and without fear.
I'd really like to change "This not who we are" to "this is how we need to stop being who we are."

I’ll get back on BlueSky in a few minutes… but my wife and I are enjoying dinner… a piece of chicken, a piece of broccoli, a corn tortilla… and something else.

BlueSky initially banned my photo. I must say that the redaction is very very much larger than necessary. Very…

The Republican Party has become the “path of least resistance” for all the despicable racist and white nationalist crazies that have been the underbelly of this country for years. Unfortunately they now feel comfortable crawling out from under the rock because of Trump and his AdminiCronies.
"Having 80 percent of Republican voters actively supporting a fascist race war is meaningful for our societal prospects."

How many Americans actually want a race war?

Hello? Hello? Nothing but crickets out there. 🦗 🦗 🦗
Where is the business community and corporate leaders of Minnesota based companies in speaking up? Why aren't the big law firms sending lawyers to represent the people being attacked?

We are not at the end of this authoritarianism, we are at the beginning. And, sadly, we are on our own.

I saw this on Katie Tur’s show the other day, and it is more disturbing watching for a second and third time. I just cannot fathom how ICE agents feel justified in behaving this way… unless they have been assured by DHS (and higher) that they will not be prosecuted, and if even so, Trump will pardon
ICE THUGS arrested a pastor & kept asking him "Are you afraid?" numerous occasions. The pastor said NO. Eventually the THUGS let him go stating that "You're WHITE, you're no fun to us!!"
This is how sick & deranged these THUGS are, thanks to this REGIME‼️

Well Sienna. I’d advocate a focus on voting in change later this year away from GOP control. And I’d recommend that rather than continuing on the campaign of retribution, that democrats immediately turn to passing bills and legislation to curtail presidential power/immunity, & eliminate pardon power
I know that feeling. Focusing on solutions helps. What’s one change you’d make?
January 11, 2026 at 1:17 AM
Let’s share ideas & get narratives going. I feel frozen. I can hold a sign. I can type a post. I can vote, but honestly that’s every 2/4 years. I email my senators & representatives but I feel like I’m not being heard. I’m barraged w/ Trump shit every day & feel suffocated. Change but how? Show me
I'm wondering what solutions there are?
I boycott, write & call my Congresspeople, I send post cards, I protest, I'd run for office but we have way too many old people already.....

I know that feeling. Waking up at 3am and staring at the ceiling… unable to go back to sleep. But then we think good thoughts to eliminate those gremlins. It helps… & makes us more determined to make positive change. If we complain we need to share solutions to make things better

There are moments when the country feels like it exhales; and what comes out is grief.

"Not the loud, performative grief politicians use when cameras are rolling, but the quiet kind that sneaks up on you in the middle of the night.
Screams From Minneapolis
The screams didn’t echo; they lingered, exposing a government that shoots first, lies second, and leaves a grieving country to absorb the silence afterward.

The fittest should ensure the survival of the most vulnerable… NOT the survival of the fittest who can take care of themselves. What happened to empathy and helping those in need?

It is insane. But it is ingrained in many people in this country. The political narrative is very different depending on what you watch and listen to on tv and the internet. I don’t know what the answer is. But my NY resolution is to try my best to provide solutions to my complaints. Stay tuned
The most enlightening and disappointing thing to come out of this ICE shooting is that the right legitimately does not give a fuck about human life if it harms their political narrative.

Watching people malign a 37 year old mother for being murdered by her country is insane.
January 9, 2026 at 12:20 AM
Minnesota needs to perform their own investigation and pursue state charges against this murderer ICE agent. Think hard people. Even if this agent were to be found guilty on federal charges… Trump will immediately pardon him. Try him on state charges and Trump cannot pardon him. 🖕
🚨 The White House is now actively covering up a murder.

Apparently there are many Americans who are so far into their information silos that they are extremely isolated from what’s really happening. Insane vs Oblivious. 🤔
The Trump regime’s internal security enforcers murdered an American citizen in broad daylight.

The regime is illegally blocking the release of evidence of Trump’s extensive collaboration with Epstein. They’re agitating for war with France and Germany.

It’s completely insane anyone supports them.

I just sometimes wish that a day.. or two… or a week could go by when I wouldn’t have reason to grab my phone and post on BlueSky about some ridiculous or heinous or illegal or stupid or anti-democratic piece of news that came to light that day. Unfortunately not yet. Hopefully someday soon. Vote.
If Renee Good is a "a domestic terrorist" according to Kristi Noem it means the label is meaningless and will be used by the Trump Administration to murder anyone it wants.

Problem is politicians forget why they are in office. They are there to represent us. Their constituents. In their unique & different districts w/ their unique & different needs. They are not there to represent a universal thought process based on party affiliations. Don’t forget us or be voted out
"Independent minded" means "folks who are willing to take on issues that are important to their community and just be honest about where they stand and what they would do. I think it’s not giving a cookie-cutter response."

I so agree. I thought there would be no way in hell people would still support this guy. But Trump has his propaganda FOX News station that glammed over the real story. Many of those viewers never saw or heard about what truly happened. It says most about the mindset of many of our fellow Americans
