Thanksgiving is the true holiday. Time out of work to relax and go back home with mom and dad without all the craziness of Christmas. Just time to be together and get cozy.
It’s always been my favorite holiday. It was not long ago that the only thing open on Thanksgiving was the movies. It was great. We’d watch the parade, cook many things and eat them, the old folks would tell stories about life before cars or electricity, we’d watch the game, and read books. Magic.

God Bless. Happy Thanksgiving. Let’s keep our friends in need first and foremost in our minds throughout this holiday season… and most importantly… beyond. Don’t forget. Keep fighting for those who need help. That’s what this country stands for. Someday we will get back to basics. ❤️ 🦃 🎄 🌎
This weekend, I joined @grownyc.bsky.social, Throggs Neck Community Alliance, and volunteers for a food distribution in Throggs Neck. We distributed 1,500 pounds of fresh produce, halal turkeys, and chicken to over 350 community members ahead of Thanksgiving. (1/2)

Stop the nonsense and take over these “talks” from Trump and his administration and simply tighten the screws on Russia and throw the massive sanctions on them. Congress and the Senate need to DO YOUR JOBS!!!!!
Unclear where this war profiteering plan came from or why it emerged right now, but clear that it is in every way disastrous
This is not a peace plan. It is a proposal that weakens Ukraine and divides America from Europe, preparing the way for a larger war in the future. In the meantime, it benefits unnamed Russian and American investors, at the expense of everyone else.

Trump has literally thrown Elise Stefanik under the bus, blown her up in a Venezuelan fishing boat, and then shipped her to the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, Turkey. All of which he has condoned or ignored in prior instances. Chop chop

Masked white supremicists on the left. Masked ICE officers on the right. Or did I mix that up? Or are they one-in-the-same? Masks hide face recognition for a reason.

Well… a lot of us don’t like
Trump… so should we send him off to the Saudi consulate in Istanbul and see what happens? No. Trump
Disgusts me. Quiet piggy.

Something is incentivizing Margie Green to behave in a way she believes will be the better road to follow at this point. We will eventually find out, but the sniff test is sensing something stinky. Good for her for speaking out… but that doesn’t erase all the bad. This isn’t the confessional
Again before we go praising MTG… and if shes truly changed great, but can somebody please ask her about January 6? Have her address that to see if this is real

As an “older thinker” I have reason to believe from personal experience that there are people who go through life proclaiming to have no biases or anti-racial tendencies but harbor inherent animosity to people who are “different” or not like them with the attitude that they poison society. Shame.
White nationalists and other perverse factions have long hovered on the fringes of GOP politics. But for a long time these older thinkers had—or thought they had—compelling reasons to believe that those elements were being kept out on the fringes. www.thebulwark.com/p/the-conser...

Half of the country could care less. That’s what the focus needs to be on. Not chirping to the millions of us who agree. The point is…how do we effectively push into that population to effectuate change. And to at least start a thought process. And get folks to think about what they vote for.

Ingraham: "So we're dependent on China to keep our universities going?"

Trump: "No. I think it's good to have outside countries."

Ingraham: "They're not the French. They're the Chinese."

Trump: "What you think the French are better?"

Ingraham: "Yeah."

Trump: "Really…I'm not so sure."

I’m a “retiring old fuck”… but you know what?… get these do nothing old suckers out of political office and let our super smart children take the reigns and decide who should be in government positions advocating for their interests. It’s their future. Let them make the decisions. Get out the vote.
I’ve been informed they’re all retiring old fucks, which tells you everything you need to know about the centrist corporatists.

We need to remember that local/state elections are, in fact, local. Each segment of our citizenry has specific concerns & needs. We vote for the candidate that promises to address those specific needs within the overall political landscape… but remain committed to those who voted them into office.
