one thing I’ll credit the sexy gay hockey show is in a time when LGBTQ+ representation is sorely lacking or relegated to side characters, this show proves that people want more
(even if I do think the characters teeter on, as Ben Whishaw said about Hollywood “being sexy in a heterosexual way”)

last night we had our annual rewatch of the Pee-Wee’s Playhouse Christmas Special and tonight it was the annual rewatch of Gremlins

I think one issue I have with current SNL is that it feels very individualistic- lately I can’t tell most of the time if any of the cast know each other at all.
part of the magic of SNL is the group dynamic AND the guest hosts, but even Bowen’s “goodbye” skit felt kinda lonely to me!

my side quest today was helping a little bird (american goldfinch I think) that flew into my window- I was certain it was headed for bird heaven so I picked it up, put it in a small planter, it let me pet it for like 15 mins as it made this 😑 face…

I feel like Welcome to Derry gets IT, maybe even better than the movies did. I definitely liked the show more than the movies, but it made me want to rewatch them too.
