I think GDT’s Frankenstein was everything it needed to be- faithful to the source while also adding a few layers that helped move the story along. Everything and everyone is gorgeous. It never ceases to amaze me that Mary Shelley wrote this story over 200 years ago.

just watched Fantastic Four and it was fun! Kinda formulaic superhero nonsense but the cast is great and the retro futuristic visuals are very cute

One of my nicknames when I was in my late teens/early 20’s was “Diane Keaton” bc I was the “Diane Keaton” of my friend group, which is why even though we’re so annoying, I love gay people

ok so my 1 day downtown Chicago- walked to Mr. Beef (line too long) so went to Al’s, walked along river, over to Swadesi Cafe by Union station for an iced toasted peanut latte, east to Grant park, up to the bean & jazz fest, then Nando’s for dinner! (walked 10 miles)

the IG iPod prompt has made me revisit my 2000s indie “American Apparel on the L Train” playlist… living in Brooklyn in the 00s was a time I never thought I’d be nostalgic for, but in retrospect it was kinda wild & very fun lol
