On this day in 1976, Boston released their self-titled debut album, on the way to selling 18 million copies in the U.S., and 27 million worldwide.
Not bad for an album that is essentially Tom Scholz's demo tape and after getting turned down by every big label in the country.

Lemme say, the flooding here in #Wisconsin was absolutely absurd. Thankfully we avoided the worst, but some of the stories you hear are crazy. People evacuated by raft!
