👇🏻We are experiencing the same deluge and it is overwhelming and unsustainable.
We're experiencing an unbelievable deluge of submissions. At our journal we got ~200 per year in 2020. Last year it was 600. This year it's 800 with several months to go. So that's why we're slower to get stuff out for review.

Can’t make Trump’s unfitness for office the talking point: that’s “boring”. So, gotta go with what gets the attention now, and that’s arguing that Biden is unfit. Once again: there are legitimate questions about Biden, but the attack dogs are more interested in controversy than enlightenment.

Richard Lynn’s racist national IQ data sets and papers that use them should be retracted. New piece in Stat News from @dsamorod.bsky.social, @stairwaytokevin.bsky.social, @jedidiahcarlson.com, James Lingford, @rebeccasear.bsky.social, Cathryn Townsend, and me
Journals that published Richard Lynn's racist 'research' articles should retract them
Richard Lynn's work has been repeatedly condemned for using flawed methodology and deceptively collated data to support racism. It's past time to retract the studies.

I love how the New York Times, which ran more than five dozen articles on Gay and almost single handedly maintained the drumbeat for her resignation, switches into Neutral Observer Mode here.
