Both of my parents were immigrants. Like other immigrants they came ( mum from Ireland, dad from Australia) for the opportunities America offered. The minute we, for any reason, begin to think of ourselves as ‘better’ than the most impoverished immigrant, we are morally lost

Grew up watching ryno on channel 9. Possibly my favorite Cub ever. And at one point during his career or shortly after retirement I believe he was widely considered to be the greatest second baseman of all time. RIP.
With great sadness, we share that Ryne Sandberg has passed away today.
