The thing I've never understood about racism is that it denies the racist the full measure of human experience. Imagine seeing the trailer to SINNERS or catching Bob Marley's "Buffalo Soldier" and thinking (in other words), "No, I'm not allowed!" Why deny your soul in this one life? So stupid.

One of the dangers of marijuana / cannabis is googling the highest cliff you've ever jumped off, and for the record for me it's apparently 80 feet in Gaysville, Vermont, into the White RIver. I want to pump that number up to 100 feet, in Vermont, this year. #GoldenGlobes

I've never served in the military, but as a USPS postman in college I had to raise my hand & swear an oath to protect & defend the Constitution of the United States, & I took that seriously. The America we're in today is a fucking disgrace. Fuck the Republicans, fuck ICE, what are we fucking doing?

2003-4 I was a USPS Casual Letter Carrier (non-union temp who covered routes when union people were off for vacation or sick) in Burlington VT. One day I slipped on ice & fell so hard I couldn't breathe. A Sudanese refugee came over & she held my hand & rubbed my chest until I could breathe again.
I would like to hear about a time someone, a stranger even, was very kind to you without any prompting, ulterior motive, or strings attached.
