We need experimental abundance in bioengineering.
So much of biological science is trying to squeeze as much learning as possible out of a very small amount of raw experimental data -- because making that data is insanely expensive. We're hitting the limits of that approach -- this is why drug 🧵

It’s been a tough few weeks. My 10yo daughter was diagnosed with a very rare, aggressive cancer called interdigitating dendritic cell sarcoma (IDCS). I’m reaching out to identify clinicians/patients who have encountered pediatric IDCS or other (non-LCH) dendritic or histiocytic sarcomas cases.

Any practicing scientists including Geneformer in your workflow?
Just curious if starting to see scientists at the bench using models like this to explore possible experiments in silico before deciding what experiments to subsequently do in the lab.

Hey Bluesky! just posted on lab automation on X - will try it here too 😀
Arya Lipman asked "life sciences automation seems to only be working in limited use cases (unless I'm missing it) - companies have burned a lot of cash on robots that sit idle. what's next / where is the opportunity here?" 🧵
