Admittedly more of a World Service than Radio 4 listener, but what is with Today programme hosts referring to Zohran Mamdani as 'radical Left' in election coverage today? His policies are fairly mainstream Left in European terms. Are Khan, Burnham or Hidalgo usually labelled 'radical' on Radio 4?
