Why does @crockett.house.gov think we need 5 minutes of her speech and not hear a word from the witness?

Let him speak!

Where are those messaging dudes who said harris and walz shouldn't have mentioned the impending dictatorship?
Trump: "Sometimes you need a dictator."

Something something Biden
Trump is now confusing Greenland and Iceland: "They're not there for us on Iceland, that I can tell you. Our stock market took the first dip yesterday because of Iceland. So Iceland has already cost us a lot of money."

I'm seeing a lot of Americans lecturing Europeans on what we should be doing about Trump.

Thanks but maybe look closer to home where you could stop this madness today!

"I can do things on the Internet"
PAVLICH: Dennis Coyle has been taken hostage by the Taliban for almost a year. What are you doing to get him home?

TRUMP: Well if you give me the name?

P: Dennis Coyle

TRUMP: Ok. You give me some information, I can take care of that. I can do some things on the internet that are pretty impactful

"...at least from an American perspective. It's embarrassing"

Gavin newsom lecturing Europeans on how they should be embarrassed about having to deal with the American president that Americans elected.

Back the blue, right?!
Federal agents are pulling over off duty cops based on the color of their skin.

This is not a serious operation to enforce immigration law. It’s a performative show of force and it’s gotten way out of hand.

Brave Thom Tillis wearing his pin badge there.

If only there was something more he could do. If only he knew people who are required by the constitution to remove an unfit president...

Trump claims to have absolute power but he doesn't. SCOTUS could end this nonsense today. Congress could end this nonsense today.

Literally two people most us have have never heard of could stop this.

'Much of the power an authoratarian has is freely given'
A key part of the struggle against encroaching authoritarianism is to reject rather than perpetuate the Trumpist assertions of absolute power, to push back against the notion that resistance is futile.

Who appointed the advisers, Tom?
Tillis: "To be clear -- I'm not critical of the president. I'm critical of the bad advice he's getting on Greenland."

A truly pathetic little man
Jennings: Let's not get our knickers in a twist here

McGowan: Why are you talking like that? It's insane. Your attitude is just horrifying…

Trump is acting like an international gangster.

The Prime Minister has tried appeasing him for 12 months and has failed. It's time we finally stood up to him and united with our European allies to make him back down.

Amid ICE clashes, New Hampshire bishop urges clergy to prepare their wills
The Episcopal bishop of New Hampshire told priests protesting ICE to get their wills and affairs in order. Some praise the bishop, while other priests say they never signed up to be martyrs.

I'm delighted Meidas have cut ties with Cohen. It never sat right with me and I always sensed he was less than honest about the terrible things he helped trump do.

His line here about ''who wouldn't take a pardon?'' is so telling. The answer is ''those who are truly sorry for what they did''.

Kevin Hassett on Greenland: "The president is the person who wrote 'The Art of the Deal' because he's so good at dealmaking, so I think right now it's a good time for cooler heads to prevail and for us to disregard the rhetoric and get to the table."

Be aware that federal agents often infiltrate peaceful protests to instigate and provoke violence. These are agent provocateurs who should be treated as hostile actors. This video provides concrete proof of these embedded spies.

Brief operational term of art 🧵 to help better define what we're experiencing. What we're experiencing is state terror. I've seen a lot of terms thrown around for what the Trump admin is doing w/ICE, CBP, & other federal law enforcement (LE). The now largely out of use term is state terror. 1/
