If the House passes a 3 year extension of the ACA tax credits - which they now have the votes to do - then @LeaderJohnThune has to call it up for a vote in the Senate.

GOP leaders have tried as hard as they can to hurt families, but the dam is breaking. Let's get this done.

Expect ICEHoles at the polls, you can bet 😖
Encourage mail-in where possible. If you have a friend that is vulnerable, please go with them with as many friends as possible 🙏 It’s an effort & a risk, but so much is at stake.
NEW: Time to start thinking seriously about election security for 2026.

"It is no stretch to imagine ICE agents snatching people from voting queues and thereby deterring U.S. citizens who speak with an accent or have dark skin from exercising their right to vote."

It’s Time to Pivot to 2026 Election Security
Don’t underestimate how Trump and his allies will attempt to control the outcome of the midterms.

"It's their fault. Everything is their fault. It's so easily solved" Trump says yet again. Everything is always someone else's fault, never his. Whether it's Biden, Obama, Pelosi or Schumer, someone else is always responsible for the messes he creates.

Change the tune the song's getting old.
Insiders say Trump dumbfounded that Dems haven't caved on shutdown — and he's seething
The White House confidently predicted a swift resolution to the government shutdown as it started last month — with White House officials believing Democrats would quickly capitulate. The fact that it'...

The Trump Administration’s assertion that it can't use SNAP’s contingency reserves for SNAP benefits is contrary to:
▪️The plain language of the law
▪️Their own (now deleted) shutdown plan
▪️Guidance from prior Administrations

We have the receipts:
SNAP’s Contingency Reserve Is Available for Regular SNAP Benefits, as USDA and OMB Have Ruled in Past
The Administration must use all available options to fund November benefits for the 1 in 8 people in the U.S. who need SNAP to afford their grocery bill.

Trump’s latest target? The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, one of America’s last truly wild places. His administration just announced plans to open it up for oil and gas drilling, turning 1.56 million acres of pristine wilderness (home to polar bears, caribou, and migratory birds)

This right here.

And I feel powerless to change anything, even as I'm working my butt off trying.
"My biggest fear is that authoritarianism ultimately wins because people sort of can't be bothered to get up off the mat, and that exhaustion is so deep. And that's the thing I see and hear in people right now."

Ukraine is a secondary topic for both Trump and Putin in Alaska. This is a mafia meeting arranged by war criminal Putin to restore Russia internationally & economically. Trump wants his "peace" glory and Putin used that to get this summit. But it's mainly about money for both of them, as always.
