Looking very SF out there. Ventured out got coffee and burrito. Tried to expose myself to sunlight early to reset the body clock.
@janfj.bsky.social flight got cancelled due to hitting something on runway so he won’t be here until tomorrow.
I’ll take the opportunity to sit and write for the day

Honestly, i am very excited reading this. Can't say i understand 100% of the architecture and protocol but at least it is not fundamentally tied to p2p like radicle or a central corp like github.

I'm starting a @leaflet.pub publication! Leaflet is an app that uses the AT Protocol just like Bluesky which I think is hella cool.
This is separate from my blog @SpaceCadets.love and will be a bit more frequent and informal.
Subscribe to both! More info in my first leaflet.

After spending a day with @playwright.dev protocol I am just shocked how bad it uses cdp. It does everything in the worst most greedy and inefficient way that could only ever be useful in a testing environment where you have short lived full browser instances launched for your little task.

Isn't it crazy there were no stories of billionaires who had an email client or browser custom built just for their liking? They do that with yachts but use gmail like everyone else?

@notwes.bsky.social Exciting to see first falcor commits in years, what is the current status of usage at netflix? I think im still the last active user and would love to keep it alive. Especially now that the industry hysteria about graphql is over it might be time for a revival?

Can someone explain why video platforms force users to click videos to watch them? Is the signal so much better on a click vs just watch time that it justifies ruining UX?
